Linus Eppinger/Nicolai Daneck Quartet

Go back to the overview

The Linus Eppinger/Nicolai Daneck Quartet is dedicated to the music of Irving Berlin and Vernon Duke, two of the great composers from the golden age of the American popular song, but recently also working some original material into the repertoire. The guitarist and pianist are constantly negotiating the relationship of hard swinging and strong expression with melodic lyricism and simple beauty. The group’s rhythm section consists of Amsterdam regulars Mauro Cottone on bass and Joao Guerra on drums.
